Chris Walton is an accomplished Senior Executive and one of the leading omnichannel experts in the world, with nearly 20 years of success within the retail and retail technology industries. He has high-level executive experience and is well-versed across nearly every discipline within retail, including: merchandising, store operations, inventory management, product design, forecasting, e-commerce, pricing and promotions, product development, and store design and architecture.
Currently he is the CEO and Founder of Third Haus, the retail lab joint venture with Xenia Retail built to develop scaleable next-generation retail and mall experiences, and Omni Talk, one of the fastest growing blogs in retail. He is a regular contributor to Forbes, Retail Dive and the Robin Report, formerly an entrepreneur-in-residence for GSVlabs, and he also sits on the Advisory Board for Delivery Solutions, a leader in last-mile delivery solutions, and Xenia Retail, the engine for modern commerce.
Prior to starting his entrepreneurial ventures, Chris worked for Target, where he was the Vice President of the retailer’s Store of the Future project and also the Vice President of Merchandising for Home Furnishings on Target.com. He also spent time in the field as a District Manager for Target, running his own store and overseeing 12 stores, spread across Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and South Dakota, after working for over six years within Target’s store merchandising organization in Minneapolis, MN.
Chris began his career at Gap, Inc. and holds a BA in Economics and History from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
